In order to find the root cause of your dizziness, we do need to "provoke" your symptoms slightly. However, this is done in a controlled, clinical way. We use specialized infrared goggles to track your eye movements, which often allows us to find the source of the problem without needing to make you excessively symptomatic.

Because we may provoke your dizziness during the assessment to get an accurate diagnosis, some patients feel a bit "off" for a short period afterward.
The majority of patients feel fine to drive home themselves after an assessment. However we do recommend to have a back-up ride available or a friend or family member drive you to your first appointment just to be safe.
